Dutch Apple Cake

Dutch Apple Cake

Recipe

Our Dutch Apple Cake is a lovely fruity cake to use up all those early windfall apples. Apples are extremely rich in important antioxidants, flavonoids and dietary fibre, a super little fruit. We use almonds in this recipe to help the cake maintain it’s moist texture, they are also an excellent source of Vitamin E, copper, magnesium, manganese, potassium, calcium, and iron.
Mushroom and Black Bean Burgers

With Burger Day here we're celebrating with some plant based deliciousness! These are simple to make, and simply yummy. They're also great to keep in the fridge and warm up as needed (perfect hungry teenager food!). Why not try them with our Keto dip, and fully loaded coleslaw to serve alongside?

Tasty recipes, 100% zero waste

Food waste and excess food mileage is one of the biggest environmental issues facing the world, and that’s why you’ll find that our recipes always focus on using seasonal ingredients. We have a love of leftovers too, just about every recipe we create tastes just as good the next day as a super snack, little tasty lunch or simple supper!
