Easy

It's the most sparkly evening of the year tomorrow and like many we're off to an organised display, but how can we make sure to avoid the sugary lure of the candy floss and toffee apple stalls? Presenting the Banana Firework Lolly! Avoiding all the processed bits and bobs can be tricky at events like these but these Firework Lollies are quick and easy to make, and look so good that kids and adults alike will be happy to grab one while they watch the pop, bang, whizz!

3 bananas

100g dark chocolate

A handful of our raspberry coconut macaroons

2 tsp chocolate sprinkles

In a small pot place your broken chocolate pieces, place over a pot of boiling/hot water. Stir until melted.

Add in a tsp of coconut oil if needed to thin the chocolate a little. Peel bananas and take the tips of so you have flat ends. Cut each banana in half. Place a skewer through the centre (the largest end of the banana).

Crumble the raspberry macaroons onto a plate. Drizzle the chocolate over the banana halves and top with sprinkles and scatter the raspberry crumble over the sides of the banana (see the pic). Set aside until chocolate is set. Enjoy your firework cracker!
